JL Tiny King Hancock

2016 AQHA Blue Roan  Gelding

OWNER DESCRIPTION:

King is a 10-year-old AQHA Registered blue roan gelding

standing 15.1 hands tall. He is a true blue roan with a long,

flowing mane and the kind of eye-catching presence that

stands out anywhere.

King is a proven all-around ranch, rope, and trail gelding

that is gentle, dependable, and suitable for most levels of

riders. He is very broke to ride with a solid one-hand neck

rein, moves easily off your legs, and is simple to operate.

He lopes collected circles on a loose rein, has a big,

confident stop, and turns around correctly both

directions.

He is exceptionally user-friendly to get on. Lead him to a

mounting block, step, or stump, step up, and simply

smooch—he will side pass over, stand quietly, and wait for

your cue.

King has been extensively used on the ranch and in the

mountains of Western Montana. He has gathered, sorted,

and branded cattle, and is comfortable working in tight

alleys or out in big country. He has dragged calves to the

fire and is the kind you can rely on for a full day’s work.

On the trail, he is seasoned and trustworthy. He crosses

water, brush, and rough terrain with confidence and is

quiet around wildlife and new environments. He has been

ridden many miles through wet bottom ground as well as

steep mountain country.

He has also been started in the team roping on both the

head and heel side. He is quiet in the box, shows natural

rate, and has the strength to pull anything you dally to.

While not finished, he is well on his way and ready to go in

any direction.

King has been ridden extensively by a 10-year-old boy,

highlighting his kind nature and forgiving disposition. He is

safe, honest, and consistent every day.

He is easy to handle in every way—good to shoe, load,

haul, and bathe. He stands tied quietly, does not pull back,

and has no buck.

King is in the prime of his life and ready to go to work.

Whether you need a dependable ranch horse, a rope

prospect, or a safe, enjoyable trail partner, he fits the bill.

He sells 100% sound with no blemishes.
