2014 Halflinger/Paint Mare

OWNER DESCRIPTION:

Meet Mae, a 12 yr old Halflinger cross paint mare. She’s

got all the class and sass! This little gal has been with me

for the last 10 years, and it was not an easy decision to let

her go. But I’d love to see her go on and be enjoyed by

someone else. She has been one of the handiest little

horses I’ve ever owned. Mae is no stranger to ranch work,

she’s drug hundreds of calves to the fire, gathered, sorted,

and is stout enough to rope and hold big cattle. I also used

her extensively in the feedlot and more recently led pack

strings in the wilderness, and gathered horses on her.

She’s even participated in a few ranch rodeos! I’m very

proud to offer such a special horse. Mae is handy broke as

they come and does everything you’d expect a broke

horse to do. She has raised 3 very exceptional colts, and

saddled up and rode great after over 3 years off. She

would be best suited for a strong beginner/intermediate

rider as she still has a big motor. No buck or bad habits,

hobble and picket broke. Old scar on left front foot, does

not affect soundness. 14.1 hh 1250 lbs. Mae would make a

nice addition to any ranch operation or a great trail

partner!
