Peptos Poppin
2020 AQHA Bay Gelding
OWNER DESCRIPTION:
Peptos Poppin
Peptos Poppin is an AQHA registered bay roan gelding
standing 15 hands tall. He is a gorgeous blood bay roan, as
shapey as they come, with a long mane and tail. He has an
excellent cow horse pedigree with proven legends
stacked deep in his family tree.
This is a true ranch horse that has been used to do all the
ranch chores. He is good to rope and doctor pasture cattleon and is very enjoyable to ride. He saddles up gentle
every time, even with time off.
Peptos Poppin is fancy broke to ride with a good
turnaround and a big stop. He will lope pretty circles in
the arena, picking up both leads correctly, and is very
smooth in all his gaits with a rocking chair, easy lope. He is
very good to sort and pen cattle on and is especially
handy working gates.
He is trained to side pass over to a fence, mounting block,
or step when you smooch to him, making it easy to get on.
He will stand quietly and patiently until you are ready to
ride off.
He has also been started in the team roping arena and has
had cattle roped on him. He shows a lot of ability there
and would excel if someone wanted to take him that
direction.
Peptos Poppin is handy broke and very user friendly. You
do not have to be a cowboy to get along with him. He
gives to pressure, moves easily off your legs, and will stay
between your hands and feet, making him easy to position
and control.
Outside the arena, he has spent countless miles in the
mountains of western Montana. He is quiet, gentle, and
confident on the trail. He crosses water, handles rough
country, and goes through thick brush with ease. He is
very surefooted and will take care of his rider. He walks
out strong and will keep those bridle reins swinging all
day.
He has no buck, no hump, and stays gentle even with
extended time off. He is in the prime of his life and ready
to go to work.
Peptos Poppin has no blemishes or brands and sells 100%
sound. He has zero vices and is good to bathe, trailer, and
shoe.
